Analysis of risks and opportunities from future climate change
We have assumed the risks associated with future climate change scenarios and opportunities to respond to them as shown below.
●Increase in costs due to an increase in the frequency of new installation and replacement of equipment due to the advancement of low-carbon technology
● Accelerating shift away from plastics due to changes in consumer attitudes
●Delays in material procurement and delivery due to logistics suspension due to urban floods, etc.
●The number of customers who are highly aware of climate change risks will increase, creating an environment in which it will be easier to promote your company’s environmentally friendly products.
●As the need for lighter loads increases in the transportation field, demand for our environmentally friendly products will increase.
●Working towards SBT level goals will raise awareness of reducing environmental impact within the company and lead to cost reductions through reduction activities.
